Assessment Process

Assessment Process

All aspects of the assessment process are personally managed by Dr. Green who takes great pride in the individual attention she provides.  An entire week is dedicated to one client, culminating in a Comprehensive Individualized Neuropsychological Report being delivered to the client or their representative.

1) The initial screening questionnaire is prepared and reviewed. This includes a background of pertinent family, educational, medical, social/emotional, and prior testing histories, as well as current concerns.  This may also include school and/or teacher reports.

2) A pre-testing interview is conducted with the client or their representative in order to follow-up on the screening data, to gain a sharper view of the presenting issues, and to better ascertain what the test result expectations are.

3) A post-testing feedback exchange is conducted with the client/representative or referral source via phone, Skype, or conference call. This exchange serves to acquaint the client with what the evaluation findings will entail, to create a deeper understanding of the mechanisms used to identify specific challenges, and to explain the types of recommendations that might be made, as well as to provide an additional opportunity for feedback.

 4) Based on the personal history and relative information collected, the interviews and feedback exchanges, and the resulting test data, a detailed accounting is presented in a comprehensive report that captures the “whole” person, which includes recommendations for both inside and outside the school or work environment.

5) A follow‑up meeting with the client is arranged at the client’s convenience after the Neuropsychological Report has been delivered in order to address any further questions.
